Worship Team Expectations

Excellence in ministry is vital for effective ministry. 1 Timothy 3:13 says, "Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus."

Our desire is to see everyone to be involved in ministry. Below are the expectations and requirements to be involved in the music ministry here at Pleasant Valley Assembly of God.

Expectations

WORSHIP LEADER
1. Must be a worshipper first, and leader second
2. Possess the musical ability to lead a worship team
3. Possess the spiritual ability to lead a worship service
4. Organize and run rehearsals of musicians and vocalists
5. Attend one of two morning worship services

WORSHIP TEAM VOCALIST
1. Must be a worshipper.
2. Possess ability to sing with correct intonation (in tune)
3. Possess ability to harmonize with other vocalists if singing parts.
4. Attend weekly rehearsals as well as additional rehearsals if necessary
5. Attend one of two morning worship services
6. Submit to ministry leadership

WORSHIP TEAM BAND MEMBER
1. Possess ability to play an instrument.
2. Possess ability to read music or chord charts
3. Attend weekly rehearsals as well as additional rehearsal if necessary
4. Attend one of two morning worship services
5. Submit to ministry leadership
