Media Ministries

The value of God's Word to today's generation is as relevant as it was thousand's of years ago. The challange to the contemporary church is to bring the Word of God alive through the tools available in modern technology.

Listed below are several segments that work together in the media minstry of Pleasant Valley Assembly of God.

This ministry provides sound amplification and mixing of musical instruments, vocalists, as well as the preaching of the Word of God. In addition to operating the sound system on a weekly basis, other special programs utilize the sound operators such as Musical productions, concerts, and conferences. These require several skilled sound operators to run the system through out the given event.

This ministry provides visual enhancements for our services and special events. This is accomplished through the use of video projectors, VHS/DVD players, Satellite link, as well as computer technology. In addition to equipment, several software applications are used for ministry enrichment.

This ministry provides lighting and visual effects for our services and productions. Making use of innovative lighting technology, our lighting operators program and manage many intelligent (movable) and static (non-movalbe) lights to improve the programs of PVAG.

This ministry produces graphics to be used for services, advertising, and promotiion. Designers develop these resources through drawing, painting, or computers. All forms of design come from imaginitive individuals who desire to use their creative abilities to enhance the ministry of PVAG.

This ministry develops the web site for the church and encompassing ministries. A tool designed for interactivity and anonimity providing ministry to those of our church as well as any site visitor from around the world. We feel a web presence that reaches young and old alike is ain essential part of today's society.
