This sermon series uses the story of Ruth and Boaz to illustrate the work of grace in our lives. Not grace as a thing to be received or a doctrine, but instead, grace as a person. For us, the person of Grace is Jesus Christ. Boaz was the source of grace in the life of Ruth. Using him as an example of Christ this series will encourage you to embrace the hand of Grace.

At Elim House ladies will find an atmosphere where restoration, healing, and miracles can happen within their lives. From a variety of backgrounds, these women are simply in need of a bridge to help them go from dependent to independent living. Elim House is not a half-way house for only women coming out of prison; it is a a house for all women in need of a bridge.

Programs used in Elim House will be flexible, deisgned to fit each individual need and situation. While at Elim House women will engage in budgeting classes, employment opportunities, life skill training , and many fun social events. Each woman will be encouraged to commit to some kind of community service. The program that will run in the transitional home will be flexible, designed to fit each individual need and situation.

During their stay at Elim House the ladies will find freedom from co-dependency, self-abusive compulsions, shame, guilt, and selfish desires.
